Join us July 19, 2018 at 6:30pm at The Revue Theatre (400 Roncesvalles Ave., Toronto) for an evening of film, memories and community spirit at our annual summer event.

The World Stopped Watching directed by Peter Raymont

This follow-up to director Peter Raymont’s multi-award-winning film, The World Is Watching, which documented the media circus in Managua, Nicaragua in 1988, during the Sandinista/Contra period, The World Stopped Watching follows two American journalists who return to Nicaragua to explore what happens to a country and a people when the media spotlight is turned off. They discovered a country struggling with desperate poverty and corruption, unreported by the international press.
